One of my favorite humor quotes is the one by Bill Cosby. He said, “You can turn painful situations around through laughter. If you can find humor in anything, even poverty, you can survive it.”

Page two has humor quotes from people like Allen Klein, Chevy Chase, Flip Wilson, and others. I am convinced that anytime you can truly get a belly laugh it is well worth the time. I’ve found that things go much better for me if I don’t take myself too seriously. Further, I have learned to lighten up a bit.

Maybe the purpose of these humor quotes is for all of us to lighten up and not take ourselves too seriously! Especially, in light of the fact that life is so short. Who has the time to waste being serious all the time?
